178. I don't support the 2nd Amendment as it's been interpreted

I support some of the Democratic Party platform. I'd repeal the second amendment if I had the power to do so. I don't see anything holy or necessary about it.

Is there some requirement here that we now must support the 2nd Amendment, and support all planks in the platform?
