New Doctrines are afloat.

Totally new doctrines.

One of those new doctrines is that any resistance to the Old Guard and their way of doing things simply cannot be fought over. It must be accepted. Otherwise the Tea Party members will rise up and kill us all in our sleep (Or some such thing.)

I always wondered about the Tea Party. They had marches on Washington DC that consisted of three hundred people, yet they would get all day coverage from C Span. Meanwhile, the majority of people, many of whom were out in force, in 700,000 person marches against war and military spending - they were marginalized.

Both parties have avoided accepting the "will" of the marginalized players, despite those players having the backing of most Americans. But apparently the Tea Party, such as it is while portrayed by Mainstream Media, must have some appeal to leadership in both Parties, and those Big Corporations that fund them, because whatever situation we arrive at, it has been driven by considerations of that fanatical base.
