1. mittens reminds me of...

guys I knew when I was growing up.

When I was in my twenties, there were some guys I knew, that were in their 50s ( I know mittens is 65) that would have this false sense of ego over the belief that they could still be attractive to women in their 20's. It was really creepy and colossally uncomfortable.

I called them the over-groomed disparates.

mittens fell into that category.
