This really surprised me. Doing more research on mass killing in history. Seems there were many occurences without assault weapons and large ammo clips in the past. Just as many killed if not more. This one, bombs were used. Rate of occurence should be proportionate to increase in population. I still feel psychotropic drugs and the closing of mental institutions are playing an extemely large part in this. I did a poll awhile back on the subject of removal of all guns in this country. 100% agreed that it would not be possible ever. This was when emotions were not the ruler. It's imperative all of us agree to a solution that is obtainable and will do something to greatly lower the amount of this type of tragedy. It is a mental issue. Nothing else. If you believe otherwise you are doing nothing in rememberance of the fallen and in prevention. Going the route of assault weapon and clip ban will be the demise of the party in 2014. A gun is just a barrel with a bullet in it. Doesn't matter what it looks like. They all can kill. If you think a ban is possible on semi auto you're sorely mistaken.
