families and this community get all the grief counseling they need for as long as they need without having to incur any costs, that there are absolutely no funeral costs to them, and also the idea of helping them with setting up scholarships for their survivors. There are HUNDREDS of people here, many of them children and the WHOLE families of the victims who need grief counseling. Food will be needed. Memorials will be needed. Maybe going forward new security measures will be needed. All of this costs. Let's help this community.

I am SHOCKED that someone would say, "Isn't the town already rich?" It is a town of 27,000 and by no means are all of them "well off."

There are MANY things that need to be done here. No one is saying otherwise. But financial support is certainly part of it.

As I also included, you can also send cards and letters of sympathy to the school district. I am sure everything will be appreciated.
