I bet it's a LOT longer.

Not to mention, people who take psychiatric meds and their families have a responsibility to pay attention to violent thoughts and behavior. You say "we have always had guns readily available." If I were a parent of a child on psychiatric meds, I wouldn't have a gun in the house, PERIOD. I take antidepressants and have struggled with depression for my entire adult life SO I DON'T OWN GUNS and I won't live with people who do.
