Sippy Cupp is a rather pathetic "right wing talking point amplification system".

She has no original thoughts. For any situation, she gathers (is handed?) all of the even slightly related right wing talking points, she arranges them based on a rather limited priority model (one which she might not control fully), and then speaks them one after the other.

The target audience for her verbal adventures are those who found Sarah Palin smart and attractive. Sippy Cupp is "working" a younger Sarah Palin look, which helps some on the right more easily incorporate her litany of nonsense into their own.

My right wing-ish father in law loved Palin. She had spunk. But she had something else that a 70+ guy wanted, wink, wink. The fact that she spoke in word salad mattered not.

Sippy Cupp, much like Christine O'Donnell (the NOT-A-WITCH candidate) and Sarah Palin, represent, I think, a TYPE.

They have a look that older guys like, conservative, bookish, and as such they make good "right wing talking point amplification systems."

Clearly, by taking this view, some my think I have objectified these women. My goal is not to objectify them, but to point out that they have been objectified, and that perhaps they are willing participants in that.

Sippy Cupp has said nothing since the Cycle started, to dissuade me of this view of her.
