26. Our wal-Mart has hired a young man with disabilities.
He has been at the store for several years now.
He is in a wheelchair, and seems to have muscle difficulty, cannot sit up straight, but can and does always smile and talk to customers.
Since this is a very small town, it appears a lot of people know him by now.
Many years ago, it was my job here to help our disabled clients at the Mental Health Center get jobs in the community.
I always found the local businesses were very supportive.
Of course, the nice thing about a small Southern town is that no one would be openly rude to anyone, esp. a disabled person.
