Revolutions are not fast. It took ten years for a viable state to arise on the eastern shore of North America after the 1776 uprising. If you were expecting instant gratification, waiting for "democracy to kick in" like that Family Guy clip, well, either you have a very poor perspective of history, or you're judging these nations and people by a very different standard than the one you use for your own.

The Egyptians aren't afraid of their government anymore, and they'll keep doing this until they get a government they like... and for the record, no, that's not necessarily going to be a government you like.
