I wish I could grow marijuana in my back yard. Why not, it's a plant, isn't it?

I would make pot butter and pot cookies, etc. I don't like to smoke, but I believe in the value of cannabis for relief of the joint pain I have as a result of the medication I take to prevent recurrence of breast cancer.
