different things that are not real clear with ST or for that matter most of the carriers, they offer no contracts but they don't make it real clear that you are still tied to a single carrier unless you go with unlocked phones. I purposely stayed away from CDSM phones due to my experience with sprint.... with the SIM based unlocked phones I have a wider choice of carriers...But that is just personal choice not necessarily good or bad depending on circumstances.

We use Straight Talk too. One thing along with the other good ST comments already listed...GSM/CDMA

Yep - when we first moved to a new area, we carried our landline phone number like turtle/shells.
