In reply to the discussion: The RANT light is on! [View all]They know they are on notice and skating on thin ice. They have already started telling Grover to take a hike. They can't play "make Obama a one-termer" anymore. They play the obstruction card at their risk now.
So, now is a good time to play hardball.
You NEVER, NEVER go into a negotiation asking for what you want or expect to get. You go in asking for more and expect to give something up along the way.
So right now we should be taking a hard line and doing so LOUDLY.
