(1,451 posts)that many on the right have been indoctrinated into a republican induced coma of ignorance. The right wing has had years of mis-information to feed to their sheep. They have went too far in made up land that now there is a problem with getting people back to reality in the USA. Now when they want their people to get along they can't. they have had years of lies to wipe out of their brains. And if you have centered everything you know on falsehoods, then how are you to make a sound rational judgment when in your irrational world being reasonable doesn't exist. For years the right wing has been feeding into the fears of innocent Americans. Americans who have been no further than their community church. Americans who when they have the friendly barbecue the only people that are there look like them. They don't have any friends who are of another cultural background. they rely on Faux,Beck,Hannity, O'Reily to give them the world views. Instead of learning the world for themselves.
Correcting someone about being mis-informed, is cool with me. I always ask questions like where did you get your information from. this is usually after I find out their profession. Had a teacher once in the doctor's office talking about killing grandma and death panels back during the health care debates. I laughed in her face when she told me she was a teacher. She got red and tried to cop an attitude because she couldn't see anything funny. When she asked what was so funny, I asked her another question. Did you fact check? she said no she heard it on the news. I asked did you fact check them? I just kept laughing. Then I told her that it was the funniest thing that she was an educator. An educator who obviously doesn't take her own advice she probably gives to students about researching information for reports and classroom presentations. I continued laughing and said "Girl you crack me up! Killing Grandma, death Panels, Funniest shit I ever heard." Left out the office bellowing laughter and holding my stomach. And kept repeating what she said. and kept it up until the elevator doors closed.
