the reason we wanted to get together in the first place was so that the kids could all do Thanksgiving together... they are all really good buddies! IT ended up being great because they learned sooo much. They learned that there is no reason to be embarrassed that you might not have as much as someone else... to share with others... that chipping in and helping us get ready for the big meal was fun and not just work... that friends are more important than just about anything else... and they saw a family who was truly thankful for those friends. Thanksgiving was a major victory...
