I have read that complaint about the word entitlement many times on DU. I've also read the "insurance" notion...thought maybe you needed a course correction. I didn't mean to offend you in any way. I think I know what you were attempting to say....
"Republicans sneer at the word entitlement, while giving gifts to their corporate buddies, gifts to which they seem to think they are entitled" Or something to that effect....
