62. Not brilliant, but remembering that I could have been faced with the same question. . .

I would just explain that there's a difference between effort and intelligence, and that the more gifted have a responsibility to the less fortunate, who, try as they might, can't match your performance.

You can't give away your smarts, but you *can* help those less gifted than you in any number of ways. Not only that -- you *should.*
