too swift. Romney and his people are idiots, but I find it hard to believe they would jump on an international incident that was still unfolding, UNLESS they thought they already knew the nature of the incident. Most campaigns know better and would be very cautious and wait to see what shakes out. The Romney team really thought they had a sure thing, even before it was known how the ambassador had died, or where he had been taken, or that other personnel had also died. I remember him proclaiming (erroneously) that Obama had "apologized" for the film--they had a narrative, and thought they had an event that fit that narrative before the facts fully came out. Why?
