46. it would be helpful if they had been more detailed in the breakouts - in 2008, IIRC,

people in the ~ $150000 category voted for Obama, maybe in higher %s than people just below that bracket. The relationship between income and voting was not linear.

Similarly this year, notice that in the education category, the people with the highest levels of formal education were more likely to vote for Obama than any other category.

Lots of people had different reasons for supporting Obama. That's one of the many reasons why these silly comments from O'Reilly etc., the 47% comment, etc., simply are not supported by the data.
