5. Yes that has happened. Back in the 60's Godfrey Cambridge not only dropped the

detergent he was spokesman for, but forced the company to make and air commercials in which he apologized for selling environmentally harmful crap.
More recently Seinfeld actor Jason Alexander returned a one million dollar fee to KFC and negotiated the end of his commercials for them due to their poor treatment of the chickens they use.
I can tell you this, as a non sports fan, Manning is one of the few that does ads well, and he'd be an idiot to spend his potential on John. I did not know who Mannnig was until his auto ads, sort of liked him. Now I hate his greedy guts. Any car he promots must suck rotten eggs, as does the pizza and his politics of greed.
