You beat the drums for a long, long time.

As for the 1% tax increase, you do not advocate it, but you clearly apologize for it.

Your position, apparently, is that the only way to get the most basic social net for the poor is to give in to blackmail from the rich.

I would not have given in without more of a fight.

---but as I said, no fight was required. They were scheduled to expire and Obama promised to let them expire. You keep pretending like action was needed to have them expire. It wasn't. Action was needed to maintain them. Obama took that action and here we are discussing whether it should be taken again. Which side are you really on vis a vis the issue of the Bush tax cuts? Are they a bargaining chip to you to be used to "get" some crumbs? Apparently.
