3. Yes, but in fairness, it's dramatically worse now

even for those who were already homeless than it was until the storm.

Temperatures were pretty summery until then, yes, even through October. Some people were sleeping in the subways. While that's wretched, at least they could do it. Now everything is cold and wet and people who are homeless because of the storm or for any other reason are in a lot more trouble than homeless people were before.

Let's hope there's help for all of them.
