(50,566 posts)27. It reminds me of things like airplane crashes
where scores of people die but a survivor says: "God saved me." If that deity of theirs has the wherewithal to cherrypick one person to live, that implies it either caused or failed to prevent the crash. Yet, their god is never called on its extreme assholishness -- it only gets credit for saving a person, not for wantonly slaughtering the rest.
I guess my point is that cherrypicking the perceived "god's will" is what these rightwing fucks do 24/7.
