All the concern about deficits is an attempt by the privateers to get corporate hooks into the pile of money that provides services to the American people.

Money sequestered in US accounts, particularly the social security trust fund, is money that the privateers want to concentrate within personal wealth. Moreover, they quite simply are not patient enough to wait for SS recipients to spend it.
