Rmoney already politicized the character and the character ITSELF, who is targeted to children, does NOT need to get drawn in to engage with a pathological liar and his lunatic fringe killing frenzy.

"Politics" is a subject that children will eventually learn as they grow older (both in the household and in school) but it is NOT something the CTW would want to start a precedent on within a children's show, which can lead to using children's programming for rethug brainwashing.

The appearance itself WAS the nod to what happened without giving rethugs more talking point fodder to justify killing the funding.
