People begin mental fossilization in their 30/40s and rarely revert.

He's a product of the baby boomer period, he rode the boom from 1981-2001, a lot of his success is being at the right place and time, not intrinsic brilliance.

I doubt he truly understands the how and why of the current economy like Robert Reich does.

Welch just doesn't matter anymore.
