(62,325 posts)actually care about. To continue with this never-changing system of repeating over and over again what clearly has not worked for a majority of ordinary people, is ridiculous. Republicans have had no problem imposing their disastrous policies on this and on other countries.
Dems are too fearful, too timid, too afraid to challenge them and so we repeat the same dysfunctional cycle year after year, each year moving the country more to the right.
Has anyone even tried to come out swinging for the issues that people show, over and over again, in poll after poll, that they care about?
These arguments make no sense to me. Run on issues that people care about and you win.
I think this now growing so old 'pragmatism' argument is killing this country. It has turned Dems, although NOT Repubs, into a party that is always compromising, always moving a step further to the right just so 'we can all get along'.
I don't want to get along with Republicans. They have no good ideas and the American public agrees by a huge majority when they are asked about those ideas.
