83. Maybe he was making a point that black people don't have it easy?

Otherwise, I can't imagine what he meant. But don't prejudge; I can see someone saying that and meaning that no matter how bad and old he is, many people have it worse. Find out what he meant before biting his head off. Teachers are human, you know. Sometimes we mean something and it comes out horribly!
