8. maybe we ought to have lots of gods in the public square

Allah, Zeus, Ra, Krishna on and on. Every square could have hundreds, every invocation could go on for hours praying to each one.
Maybe then people would realize what fakery it is.
Or they'd kill each other in a couple of weeks.
