(28,552 posts)... after years of "birthers" and people calling the president a "socialist" (he isn't even really a progressive , much less a socialist) and lying candidate Romney lying his ass off day after day, we're tired of coming to a gunfight with a knife and I'm pretty sure Obama is too.
We're tired of being told that tax cuts for the rich create jobs (taxes are lowest in decades, where are the jobs?) tired of being told that globalization and free trade and deregulation will make everything better for everybody (look around you, the Libertarians got what they asked for and look at the result) so trying to sell Ryan or anyone like him is only going to work on the stupid, and there is less stupid here than on most of the internet.
So peddle your "integrity" somewhere else, we've seen what passes for integrity from the Republican party and we're not buying ANY of it.
