Works fine for those in the big house. I've known people with estates in small towns. Their eyes shine at the thought of unpaid help giving just room and board, lives wasted and they benefit. It was the greatest excitement I ever saw out of them, both young and old family members saw endless possibilities for themselves.

And they were all students or graduates at the best private religious schools, parents were what we used to call 'jet setters,' with friends in many countries.

They had no problem hiring illegals to do work for almost nothing living in the barn with the animals. They claimed it was out of compassion.

There is more than one way to live, our New Deal way is to educate, house and prepare all for work and lift up all is not the longer standing model.

Oh, and they all voted for Bush, but as far as the war as concerned, they said they'd move to another country before they let their kids be forced to serve in the military. Some poor people, well, that was just their opportunity to get ahead, so that was all great.

SAHM being the operative word. This is the GOP model for women. freshwest Aug 2012 #1
