You must get to Paris. I mean, really. This is important. Get a book on the Louvre so you know what is where and then plan your strategy. Otherwise, you'll be frustrated. Decide what you want to see, besides the mona lisa. My suggestion: the marriage at cana by veronese, the Death of the Virgin by Caravaggio and the entire series of Romantic period art which includes Delacroix and Gericault.
I'm serious. Just do it.
