The franchise owners bought it at a time before those nasty comments were made public. They are victims here, as are the hourly employees.
The franchise owner might have a gay brother, the cook a lesbian niece, the cashier a bisexual best friend. We don't know. All we know is that, as of this time, many of them are stuck with the statements made.
I know someone at the local Chik-Fil-A. He took the job because there weren't that many jobs available at the time and because he knew he'd always have Sunday off to be home with his kids. (They usually fish unless it's football season.) I feel bad for him but he also said he understands why people don't want to come in.
I'm glad to see that a store has decided to help support Pride. I hope to see more of this in the future.
