43. I remember when Governor Lawton Chiles expressed pride for the "Florida Cracker".

The last time I saw deer hanging from trees (actually telephone poles) was in New Jersey. Hunterdon County was full of deer back In the 60's. They would run into the back yards for safety during hunting season and bound across country roads right in front of the cars.

I've only heard "redneck" used as term of derision.
