6. NBC's coverage has been totally and completely lacking

and I do recall with great fondness getting up early or staying up really late to see events.

i knew NBC didn't give a shit about covering the Olympics (it was validated) when they covered 3.5 hours of the women's road race to the detriment of ALL THE OTHER EVENTS HAPPENING AT THAT TIME. They picked the longest, most tedious event, that they could easily break into and follow their commercial schedule and allow for the insipid interviews.

Shortly after about 8:30 AM I made the decision to watch the rest online...
