32. The ability to coordinate a clutch with a manual shit transmission

is not a measure of how well a person drives. Today, most people have never been in a car with a manual transmission. They're going the way of the buggy whip. That said, my new car has a 6-speed manual, but I'm 67 years old, as of today, and drive such a car without even thinking about it, as does my wife. It saved us about $500 on the purchase.

Most people born after the 60s likely have never driven a manual transmission. That does not make them bad drivers. It just means that they've had no need to learn that skill.
