1. Oh that's really going to piss off the GOP.

Dressing Obama in Washington's clothes. Not sure how the article will read, but the pic is interesting.

6. Yeah the rest of the cover is kind of meh
|
but that top line is just wonderful. And true!
Time for white males to adapt to changes in the country and let go of a little of that sense of entitlement. |

Last edited Fri Nov 9, 2012, 11:42 PM USA/ET - Edit history (2) The picture depicts Obama as if he were gloating. I assume they think it will sell.
There's nothing wrong with being white. Too much of drawing out the differences instead of bringing people together regardless of color, ethnic background, economic standing, gender or sexual preference. It was an election of right and wrong as I see it. The cover attempts to perpetuate the animosity in America today. Why not a picture of the diversity of people who rejected the many narrow minded white, rich, older straight males who were represented by Romney? |

9. I agree...
|
The pic is catchy and I had a laugh, but in reality the sentiment is divisive.

10. Good God, Newsweek.
|
This cover is ridiculous and inflammatory. I hope this is a joke. Obama would never wear that gaudy jacket, and the blurb at the top makes it seem as if it were Obama's sentiment. I will be so glad when this rag is no longer on the newsstands. Why can't our media be boring and unbiased like the BBC?

14. It is posing him as "uppity" ... craven grasping for white "demographics"... dog whistle for Racism
|
despite the top line. Conquest? No, he won a democratic election. He didn't need to see "the whites of their eyes" behind the bushes.
The photo elicits deep right-brain emotional gut reactions....up to and including the small head. The "top line" elicits a left-brain intellectual after-thought. Newsweek with this kind of visual drivel needs to go the way of Fox and their minions into irrelevancy. |

15. This pic is the complete opposite of Obama's message
|
on election night. Also, to suggest his reelection had anything to do with luck
is insulting. Total divisive bullshit. |
