How many people answer polls with wrong answers?

I got 3 calls this week. All computer polls.

I am a lifelong democrat in the Northeast USA.

I am in a state where Republicans and Democrats matter in the state House and Senate, and I never answer polls about them dishonstely.

But 3 computers in the last week, when I work for Obama and work for local legislators who are Democrats, and where I work for Warren, when I can, in Mass.

I gave up, I answered that I was voting for ROmney, NEVER would I do that!!!

But polls are so intrusive when they are simply computers.

OKAY, confess. How many of you did what I did, in order to get out the Dem vote for Obama?

I made my stat less Obama in computer polls, did you do the same?
I hope 10,ooo people polled did the same in 4 or 5 states.

Screw polls.

F*ck up your state polls, answer all polls, make Republicans look like they are winning your state. OH, NV, IA, NH, VA

Screw up the polls, by 1-2 %.......Make the Republicans spend money elsewhere.

2. So you'd rather all polls are totally untrustworthy?

Keep very clearly in mind that a lot of voters will only turn out to vote for whomever they think is winning, or at least is winning in their state. If enough people like you were to answer they're planning on voting for Romney, that could push a lot of undecideds into also voting for him, or staying at home if they were planning on voting for Obama.

Although, you should also keep in mind that a low voter turnout favors Republicans, so if you're a Republican, don't vote.

4. I look at the caller ID. If I don't recognize the name or number, I don't answer.

I figure if it is something important they call leave a message and I can either pick up then or call them back. It makes life much simpler.

5. Some could argue that this method was used in 2004

A lot of the polls showed Kerry winning, yet he "lost" that race. So, either they stole Ohio or people lied in exit polling. It can work against you.

6. Actually, the evidence was quite demonstable in 2004 in Ohio

Polls and actual exit polls from polling places showed Kerry ahead in urban polling places with too few voting machines to accommodate the crowded voting places.

We know of long lines, few machines, people who couldn't cast a vote in Ohio cities standing in line for hours in the rain and having to leave the line to go to work. No one did that for Bush, I'm sure.
