This is the Bible Belt IQ level that we face in 2012

Look at post #11 and how racist it is

Now you see why these Harvard and Yale Republican politicians have to deny science.

1. Not sure if serious...

Landoverbaptist is a parody site. I wouldn't take anything there seriously, even the forums.

2. You should read this.

Landover Baptist Church

The Landover Baptist Church is a fictional Baptist church based in the fictional town of Freehold, Iowa. The Landover Baptist web site and its associated Landoverbaptist.net Forum are a satire of fundamentalist Christianity and the Religious Right in the United States.

It's a parody site, but sadly and scarily enough, not too far from the truth.

6. I know. There is a word for it, but I can't remember what it is.

Read some of "Betty Bower's, The Best Christian Ever." That shit will crack you up!

Edit to add....I see another poster made the connection...Poe's Law.

5. He he he. You do know that Landover is a satire site.

A funny one, nonetheless.

Nathan Poe wrote something up this:
Without a winking smiley or other blatant display of humor, it is impossible to create a parody of Fundamentalism that SOMEONE won't mistake for the real thing.

So, I guess you can say that you've been Poe'd.

7. Thank G_d

You know I went there before I finished reading the entire thread. All I could think was this HAS to be a joke. Then I came back and finished reading the comments and I think I can sleep now.

8. I easily become distracted by details....

....and true to form, I instantly zero'd in on all of the merit badges that sucker has. When you run your mouse over each one, it instantly tells you what it was awarded for. That guy is really endowed! For instance, he has one for "Punched The Most Queers", there was one with a shaking fist that said "Tell Her Once", The one that pictured a black baby said, "Proud Niglet Sponsor", "The 2010 Witch Hunt Award", and "Ready For The Rapture".

I wonder if his blog site qualifies as art? Nonetheless I was very entertained.
