Okay, I picked the tree race in GW2

I am so annoyed. I think I need help (as much as it pains me since I out level it) since it involves some swimming up a river, fighting fish with your wet weapon, which mine isn't very good yet, then popping out and dueling the Nightmare Court. I'm level 18. This is a level 16 quest. So they level you down to level 16 and your equipment is the only thing to differentiate, and I can't get past the stupid fish. I have a decent harpoon gun.

Can SOMEONE that is playing the game help me get through the damn fish? I know I have bros and sisters here on DU.

You would be helpful - "Hey, I'll help you out with that, let me log in" if it was anything other than an annoyance quest. Annoyance quest (I.E floating in the air, or some annoying mechanic that makes you float, takes forever, both or is just generally the last thing you want to deal with. Hey, I completed the Occulus in Wow and main tanked the RAID at the top of it. I know.) But fuck. Why did they make it tied to your CHARACTER in this game.

I couldn't find you either, and I looked for you all over the dang place. The portal system is great, but the map gets confusing at times.

Anyway, I completed the quest. It's bugged, because you can accidentally run into the robots from some other quest and get auto-killed because they are like level 40 LOL. That was just icing on the cake.

I figured it out though - I bypassed the fish, climbed down some rocks, carefully avoided falling into the lvl 40 robots, and finished it.

The water combat is just ridiculous. It is annoying as can be. The game is great, though, it just needs some time. The dynamic world quests are fantastic.

was working with/for the bandits, and he had to go on trial by combat. I must've died like 50 times trying to fight him. I was at level 8 and he must've been at level 30 or 40.

Afterwards, however, I got a better staff and now my magic is stronger!
