2. I'm between central

and west central, yet close enough to Truman to make an easy drive.
In other words, I have to listen to multiple weather reports from different areas to cobble together a prediction for the day. |

3. I don't anymore, but miss it like crazy!

If you ever doubted that MO is *not* a red state, but truly purple, just come spend a little time with me in the "bluest city in Texas".

4. I know it's not red.
|
KC, Columbia, and St. Louis are solidly blue and a few of the college towns (including where I live) can flip on occasion. It's more Springfield and the bootheel that are deep red.
FWIW-everyone here has dismissed us as going red in the next election. Personally, I think it'll be more purple, yet again. It's going to be a close race, as long as the GOP offers no other candidates. And if the Dems find a decent candidate for the Fourth it'll go dark blue for that candidate-everyone hates Hartzler around here! |

6. I figured you'd chime in!

The border is practically Missouri anyway, except you have to deal with Brownback.

7. I'm in KC
|
In a solidly blue section of the city, happily surrounded by Democrats and Democratic activists (which is why I moved there).

8. Welcome!
|
I'm about an hour east of you.
There are a few KC DUers here. Unfortunately, few of them post in the Missouri group. |
