Protests spread against US over anti-Islamic film - live updates from the Guardian.

No point in selectively picking out paragraphs - update is constant especially give that Friday prayers will end soon.

If they're talking about the bigoted, homophobic, racist film: "FREEDOM OF SPEECH! FREEDOM OF SPEECH! FREEDOM OF SPEECH!"

If they're talking about Muslims using their freedom of speech to protest: "SAVAGES! MONSTERS! STFU MUSLIMS!"

You know. Sort of like how unions are treated. or women.

It seems that is the most popular Islamic protest period.

If Muslim outrage makes more news this fall than OWS did last fall, the President's going to suffer for it at the polls, whether it's his fault or not.

Given that first news on the existence of the film was broadcast by the Salafi TV channel in Egypt it defeats how anyone here can say that the film is not the cause of the unrest.
