Nair grants bail to Pistorius.

Part of his reasoning is Pistorius's having given a detailed account of his version of events (improbabilities notwithstanding).

None of the factors for refusing bail have been established, Nair says.

2. It's bizarre that a detective accused of multiple murders was on the case

I'm not (usually) a conspiracy theorist, but it makes one wonder.

and I also cannot see why building up one's body to the point where one can perform very extreme deeds, as he did - why does that make him a hero?

to me, a hero for example, would be someone who builds a shelter for victims of domestic violence. Or one who uses their celebrity to speak out for rape survivors like rape survivor & former Miss World Linor Abargil does.

And I was outraged at all the media leading off with that story when it happened, even Al-jazeera, even tho in South Africa a woman is raped every 4 minutes, and a woman is killed every 8 hours.

3. I got the same vibe, ellen : sexism

Have you ever got up in the middle of the night and not noticed if your lover was in bed or not???

Wouldn't that be the first thing you checked if you thought there was danger?

And if they weren't there, and someone was in the bathroom, gosh, could it possibly be them????

Everybody can see through this one. It's a walking advertisement for 'how stupid things still are in S. Africa and
penisworld'.
