2. go to the New Yorker site

And while you're there read the article about some asshole named Hans von Spakovsky, who is responsible for a lot of voter disenfranchisement. Frankly that's what has me fucking scared about this election.

9. Comment = ignorant rambling

The New Yorker has some of the best political commentary in print.

Read it sometime.

8. Is this a surprise?

I can't imagine them even thinking Romney was a viable choice!

13. "A democracy cannot lay off its failing citizens."

This line by itself is a flawless indictment of Randian economics. Inspiring.

14. Hi - a reminder of LBN rules:

Use the published title of the story as the title of the discussion thread.

which is "New Yorker Endorses Obama"

Please can you edit your post to reflect this? Also, when an LBN thread is started, the box marked 'excerpt' is for an excerpt - and that is where you put "The New Yorker endorses Obama!", which doesn't look like an excerpt, to me.
