Aide: Obama takes responsibility for Libya attack
Source: Salon/AP
DENVER (AP) — A top campaign aide says that President Barack Obama takes responsibility for the consulate attack in Libya that killed four Americans. Deputy campaign manager Stephanie Cutter tells The Associated Press in a phone interview Tuesday that, quote, “every time an American dies abroad, everybody takes responsibility, from the top down.” Asked whether that includes Obama, Cutter says, quote, “Absolutely … He’s the president of the United States.” Secretary of State Hillary Rodham Clinton said Monday that she was responsible for security at the U.S. Consulate in Benghazi. Republicans have accused the Obama administration of ignoring requests for more protection before the attack. Cutter says it’s “unfortunate” that Republicans are mounting political attacks and that, in her words, “in times of crisis, normally the country comes together.” Read more: http://www.salon.com/2012/10/16/aide_obama_takes_responsibility_for_libya_attack/

2. I look forward to seeing what the President will say when Rmoney attacks him on this tonight
|
I think it's craven and shameful to make political hay out of the embassy attack, and that's exactly why I fully expect Rmoney to do his slimy best to use it as a weapon.
Here's hoping the President hits it into the seats. |

And the gop has admitted cutting off Security funds for the Embassies..
Rep. Jason Chaffetz (R-Utah) acknowledged on Wednesday that House Republicans had consciously voted to reduce the funds allocated to the State Department for embassy security since winning the majority in 2010"
"For the past two years, House Republicans have continued to deprioritize the security forces protecting State Department personnel around the world. In fiscal year 2011, lawmakers shaved $128 million off of the administration's request for embassy security funding. House Republicans drained off even more funds in fiscal year 2012 -- cutting back on the department's request by $331 million." http://talk.baltimoresun.com/showthread.php?p=8158102 |

8. GOPpers have no souls. They are focusing on bringing O down before the elections
|
which is not going to work. They careless about deducting monies from security for the Embassies cause GOPpers are products of GAWD Almighty. Anywho where are the job creations huh.
Plus, Pres O is doing fairly well with the elections regardless how the corporate media tries to frame it. He is winning CO, IA, NH, PA, NM, NV, WI, OH and 1% away FL, and closing in NC. |

10. That's just not true...
Cutter says it’s “unfortunate” that Republicans are mounting political attacks and that, in her words, “in times of crisis, normally the country comes together.” When Republicans are in control and there is a crisis, Democrats unite with Republicans, even when the facts demand that they shouldn't, and the country unifies. When Democrats are in control and there is a crisis, Republicans immediately pick fights and try to burn down 1/2 the country for political gain. I don't know who to blame more, the D's or the R's. |

Who is responsible for the murders in Libya? The murderers. Period.
Hey, R.s, we sure did fall asleep at the switch! Hey Muslim fanatics! Turns out the violence was our fault after all! Still, right on about the Rs making hay out of it. |

When "money"starts ragging on it (and you know he will) i would say that the President takes responseabilty for all lives lost,be it an embassy attack by terriost, or on the battlefields of Iraq, or Afghanistan. So when are you going to take responsibly for shipping jobs to china mitt?
