MILWAUKEE, Oct. 2 (UPI) -- Wisconsin Gov. Scott Walker is on a witness list in the embezzlement trial of a top aide during Walker's tenure as Milwaukee County Executive, prosecutors said. Walker is one of 42 prospective witnesses in Timothy D. Russell's trial on three counts of theft, including the embezzlement of $21,042 from a fund for veterans and their families and alleged thefts from the campaigns of two candidates for the Milwaukee County Board, the Milwaukee, Wis., Journal Sentinel reported Tuesday. The trial is scheduled to begin Dec. 3, and is the second criminal case in which Walker has been listed as a possible witness that grew from an investigation of Walker's aides and associates. He is also on the list of witnesses in the case of Kelly Rindfleisch, whose scheduled Oct. 15 trial involves accusations she did campaign work while at her taxpayer-funded county position in Walker's County Executive office, the newspaper said. Russell worked as Walker's deputy chief of staff. Rindfleisch succeeded him in that position. The NC GOP has plans to dismantle everything that makes state and federal government work for the people of North Carolina on the pattern already seen in Wisconsin.
They want to return to the good Ole Jim Crow days if not further back. They have already legislated away the increase in tide height due to global warming. |
