Poll:Obama expands advantage over Romney

Source: CNN

Three days after the Democratic convention wrapped up, President Barack Obama opened up his largest margin over Mitt Romney since early July in Gallup's daily tracking poll.

According to the poll released Sunday, Obama has 49% among registered voters nationwide, while Romney has 44%.

The survey was conducted September 2-8, a time window that included the entirety of the Democratic National Convention in Charlotte, North Carolina-as well as two days before and two days after the event.

2. Too Close and I am bewildered after two weeks of Romney/Ryan BS

We do have a lot of work to do. Romney/Ryan cannot win. they will do untold damage to our democracy. Bush took us to the Brink of financial ruin. Romney/Ryan will take us to dark ages before DEMOCRACY when power was in the hands of the few and instead of striving for a better life and looking forward, it was just GOOD ENOUGH to survive.

3. Its just hard for gallup to give Pres O above 50%

and I know that his rating is over that and Mittens is below 44%. Corporate polls need to try and keep it close because I truly feel the GOPpers will try their best to steal it.

6. "registered voters" = useless poll

Both "registered voter" and any national polls are meaningless. We don't elect presidents that way. The only polls that matter are those of likely voters in the very few swing states.
