Funny, how people jump to assume that opposition to Schweitzer is support for Hillary. LOL!

4. I never assume

I look at the people who went ape shit on him and didn't need to assume.

The usual suspects attacking him saying that him wanting single payer is the same position as Rove told me all i need to know...especially when it came from multiple people within minutes of each other

5. Oh, no

"I look at the people who went ape shit on him and didn't need to assume. "

...doubt Hillary supporters are on the offensive, but that is not the only opposition to Schweitzer.

12. Unfortunately, I'm not a fan of his either.

It'd be nice if someone who was actually willing to run and was more progressive than Schweitzer or Clinton could work "Team Inevitable" into this kind of lather.

13. Brian Schweitzer can make deep inroads into Red State and rural areas

Without the votes in the House and Senate the most liberal President will be seriously hamstrung. Everytime.

Democrats dominate 13 states, Republicans dominate 26. There are more of us, but the system in set in favor of small/rural states and skewed even further by "clumping" of Democratic voters in super majority districts.

15. That's great until he starts losing you safe Democratic states.

You have to understand how big gun control is in Southern New England and the urban East Coast. Yes, Brian Schweitzer will win you votes in rural America. He's dead in the water and will never gain even a modicum of traction, even as the Democratic nominee, someplace like CT where there is a substantial single-issue vote pool for stronger gun control.

(You need to understand this. Many Nutmeggers would trade the signature accomplishments of the current Democratic administration for a repeal of the 2nd Amendment. Not a majority, but enough that a Republican like Chris Christie willing to discuss gun control would win CT against the likes of a NRA-friendly Democrat like Schweitzer solidly.)

You can't lose safe Democratic states to win Republican leaning states. There will never be a strong RKBA Democratic nominee because the Democratic breadbasket of the Northeast is made up of voters no more willing to compromise on guns than they are on abortion.

18. Except the chances a "gun control friendly" Rethug would be the nominee are nil

They'd never make it through the primary or lie their ass off to get the nomination about how they luv teh gunz and then have to backpedal later.

17. nobody is scared of him, he has no chance of winning, people just don't like him

you don't see critical stuff of Elizabeth Warren being posted and there have been more pro warren for president stuff posted. and she has a far better chance of winning against hillary .
