4. Yeah it's really crazy

I just can't believe how things have developed. A huge metropolitan area completely at a standstill. Unbelievable!!! Hats off to law enforcement for their efforts.

5. These suspects had bombs, grenades, they hijacked a car with the driver.

The Lockdown was to keep people safe.

6. It is a very old city with narrow streets

If everyone stays inside the police can move around unhindered.

7. We were in new territory when two IEDs went off on Boylston Street.

The rest is aftermath.

9. That's not true. There have been plenty of bombings, particularly in the 1900s.

10. That's when an area is put under military rule.

Still just local and federal law enforcement at the moment.

14. At this point, there is little difference. BTW: military are part of this.

providing support, but involved in the operation, none-the-less.

11. They also

are worried that the killers may have planted bombs arount the city.
There is still one guy out there looking to go down in a blaze of glory. By doing this, they are keeping potential targets off the streets.

13. A few months ago, when they were searching for Richard Dorner.

Police with weapons drawn aiming at every vehicle. We've seen this just a few months ago.
