April may be the cruelest month…

But this week looks like it's going out of its way to be particularly sadistic.

1. Seriously.

I am not having April next year. Haven't decided what it will be. But it will NOT be April.

9. You're from Colorado, right?

You guys don't seem to be having an April THIS year either.

Seems like another February with all the snow!

12. yeah

This is what April looks like here when we've had a mild winter sometimes. Not always, but sometimes you can just feel in your bones that the snows are going to fall long after you need to plant and want to hike.

8. It's also National Library Week

and Animal Cracker Birthday Today. So how would those fit into this logic?

You can assemble any chain of events using google and wiki on the calendar and rationalize any conclusion you choose.

Stuff happens each and every day, some of it horrific, some of it not so great, some of it good and some of it beyond superb.

10. A library sounds like a good place to hide this week…

And while we're there we can read up on all of the horribles things in history that have ever happened during the month of April.

It's a good thing that they won't let you eat Animal Crackers in libraries too, someone just might choke to death on one.

11. If I may...

Winter kept us warm, covering Earth in forgetful snow...

Yeah, it seems all Hell has broken loose.
