7. So done with Papa John's.

We have a pizza friday at work and it's always Papa John's.

I'm definitely out on participating in this event. How can someone be such a miserly Scrooge and be so public about it.

9. It's less than 15cents

It's only 14.

But it's not the money. He wants his workers broken. He's a slaver.

15. Significance of $0.15....

.....is that how much it costs to insure an employee?

Just curious.

16. Short answer...yes...according to him.

He said he would need to raise the cost of every pizza by that much in order to pay for health insurance for all employees.

I refuse to eat that crap, anymore, but if I did...I'd happily pay an extra 15 if it meant someone could go to the doctor and possibly save their life.

Watching football yesterday, there was a PJs commercial saying that if you buy so many pizzas you get one free. Why not do away with the free crap and use those costs to cover the employees? Why? Because he's an asshole.

19. There's from CNN

A guy is debunking these figures. I saw it yesterday here. He said that's what it would cost if he paid the fine "FOR NOT INSURING" employees. Plus he said its owned by franchises, which puts it in a different category. Papa is full of BS.

17. Let's all join in

This is a great idea. We should all send the same letter & the 15 cents. We should also encourage everyone we can reach to do the same.

I wrote a letter yesterday informing him of my intent to boycott. This idea is so much better.

18. It is 15 cents more that he doesn't need.

He has had 12 yrs. of tax breaks and the stock in Papa Johns thrived under the Obama administration. I feel for the folks that bought franchises under this pouting doofus. He isn't doing them any favors.

Sending them pictures of other pizzas purchased instead of Papa Johns might communicate the transfer of business and loyalty + illustrate to them how cardboard and gross their own product is.

21. I sent them an e-mail yesterday

Here's the reply that I just received back from them:

We understand that you have concerns about comments made recently on the
potential effects of the Affordable Care Act. We are sharing customer
feedback with our company leadership. Thank you for taking time to share
your opinion.
